Re: Being blocked on facebook
I got blocked today by Facebook for posting Public messages on Fan Pages in a short span of time (Only 5 or so as I was trying to test the Free Facebook Credits thing). Now it says clearly that I should strictly refrain from this activity while being unblocked and reduce it significantly once unblocked. The question is. How do I goddamn check when I have been unblocked and from where as it would be stupid to test it by trying to repeat that same thing again and thus extending the block period. 'The block period can last from a matter of hours to a few days'. Is there a way to check exactly when the block has been lifted? Thanks.

Free Facebook Credits?? What free facebook credits thing??
Anyway - no, as far as i am aware, there is no way to see when your block will be lifted. I would wait at least 24 hours before posting again.

Re: Being blocked on facebook

All I want to know is HOW to block him or delete my comment from the asswipes profile after he had blocked me
The same thing happened in a group
A punk locked me out but my post is still there

How ignorant that Facebook didnt even delete the comments
Whats the purpose?

If they said that they blocked you yet you still see your messages, then they lied
and why cant you add their name to the block list?

Re: Being blocked on facebook

I LIKED A FAN PAGE OF A CHRISTIAN PASTOR THAT I LIKE BUT HAS A FEW THINGS WRONG AND I RESPECTFULLY ADDRESSED IT ON HIS WALL AND ALSO LEFT COMMENTS ON OTHER PEOPLES POST, TODAY HE POSTED A BLOG ASKING A QUESTION TO HIS FOLLOWERS AND WHEN I WENT TO LEAVE A COMMENT THERE WAS NO WHERE FOR ME TO DO THAT THEN I WENT TO HIS WALL TO TRY AD POST ON HIS WALL AND THERE ALSO WAS NO OPTION FOR THAT ASWELL, THEN I LOOKED FOR A WALL POST THAT SOMEONE ELSE POSTED THAT I COMMENTED ON IT SAYS IT STILL HAS 3 COMMENTS BUT WHEN I CLICK ON IT, IT ONLY SHOWS 2 NOT MINE (
WHICH IS THE 3RD) ALSO MY PREVIOUS WALL POST I LEFT IS DELETED AS WELL. WAS I BLOCKED I CAN STILL ACCESS HIS PAGE BUT CANT LEAVE COMMENTS AND HOW DO I RETRIEVE ME COMMENTS THAT I PREVIOUSLY LEFT??

blocked on facebook Fan Page

It sounds more like he has turned off posting/commenting for everyone... you can always message him/the Fan Page directly and ask. If you get an error when you try to send the message, then you've been blocked / banned from that page.

Re: Being blocked on facebook
hi.pleasant day guys! i have a complicated relationship going right now...my girlfriend just broke up with me just a week now...few days from now after the break up,she unfriended me...then after 2 days she blocked me...then a couple of days after the blockage i use my mother's FaceBook account to communicate with her...then lastly yesterday we're ok...although we're not into boyfriend-girlfriend relationship then...but im happy...we're happy...she just needs time to focus on work and studies so i do understand that ,surely because i love her so much...but the problem is...i can't see the album which she just uploaded after the break up...and now that we're friends again i'm not able to view it...but when i use my mother's account i can view it there?is it just like a side effect of the me being blocked from facebook?is there a way for me to see it?please...help me with this...it'll be much appreciated.. thanks!

Re: Being blocked on facebook
Blocking works the same for blocker and blockee. Meaning BOTH of you can't see posts the other makes on mutual friends' walls. And you both can't see replies the other has made to friends' posts (but you CAN see your friends' replies to their replies... so if a friend looks like they're talking to themselves, you know why.). So he has no advantage over you (except he can choose to unblock you. Whoever blocks first has that choice, so I recommend blocking people before they block you...

Re: Being blocked on facebook
I unfriended my Exboyfriend after we broke up, then blocked him. So the question is we both had a lot of messages we had sent to each other through FaceBook, I know they stayed saved, but Im not sure if it will in his after I've blocked him. If he goes back to those emails would he still be able tosee me and contact me through them like a reply?

Re: Being blocked on facebook

I tested this last year (before Timeline) - at that time, yes, i could still see messages from the person i blocked/that blocked me AND i could reply. I have read that since then, you cannot reply anymore, but you can still see the messages.

Re: Being blocked on facebook
I read my facebook each night and I share from others pages about 5 times a night. Now when I get on it's my husbands name, and his face book page? Am I doing something that--wrong? Nothing I post is filthy or obscene. Please help me get back on. I can't even get on, on my other email adress!

blocked on facebook

If she has blocked you there is no way your account will be able to view her profile or send messages unless you get her to unblock you.

You could create a new account and view her profile/send a friend request/message her, but chances are that if she blocked your first account, she'll block the second account also.

Re: Being blocked on facebook
My wife blocked me on Facebook about a year ago, (we are going through a pretty tough separation) but now I appear to be unblocked. Is there a one year time limit on blocks, or did she unblock me? I really doubt it, but could this be a slight thawing of her cold, icy, evil hatred?

Re: Being blocked on facebook
She had to unblock you, and she wasn't being evil, she was hurt. I'm sure the part of you that caused her to write that about her is why she previously blocked you in the past.

Re: Being blocked on facebook
Thank you for your comment. I'm sure she was hurt. So was I, due to her infidelity and willingness to throw away her relationship with our 3 children and extended family, just because some bad boy, 20 years younger than her starts flirting with her on Facebook and convinces her that she would be a happier with him.

Re: Being blocked on facebook
there is this guy that kept posting disrespectful stuff on my girlfriend's FaceBook. She claims that she blocked him, but 2 weeks later he posted something on her Wall. Im pretty sure he is not a hacker 'cause he doesn't have the brains for it, but is it possible he unblocked her block? thanks!

HIGHLY unlikely. My guess is that she didnt block him, she unblocked him, or, he made up a new similar looking account.
