Can I tell if someone who is on Face Book but is NOT one of my friends is looking at my profile?

Are you sure a person cannot know that someone is viewing their profile?

If I look at someone's facebook that is not private, is there anyway they can find out (ie profile views increase) or see my profile or ip address?
No one can see you looking they Facebook:)
trackers are not allowed on facebook. it's against the TOS. a facebook app and the authors would be banned from facebook. Persons who somehow find a way to put trackers on their profiles would be in violation of the TOS as well.
the current facebook trackers that are advertised don't work. although i have heard of talk of a google analytics code telling you how many visitors you have had to your profile. i'm not sure of where that is in regards to the TOS though.
if someone came out with a functioning FaceBook tracker, i would not run the risk of putting it on my profile. wouldn't want my profile deleted!
YES. you can become a fan of "who is looking my profile" on facebook and it will show you who was looking at your profile, dates, times etc.
are you sure? i would think that would only work for those who choose to participate in that, and wouldn't track anyone who wasn't a willing participant.
I'm on facebook everyday...I've never seen a view counter. Its not like myspace....Facebook is very tight on privacy...If you don't want to be seen, you won't be seen or found! I'm sure theres ways...but not for the average joe. I don't even think that facebook allows trackers.
YES. I know someone who has a programme on FaceBook that allows him to check who has been logging on to their account, when they log on and how long for. As a result I deleted my account.
I believe that the side bar, where it shows you a quick shot of some your friends has a relationship with who's viewed your page.
not the case - - from Facebook:
Applications CANNOT track profile visits for users who simply go to another person's profile; Facebook has made this technically impossible.
In order to be tracked by an application, you will need to specifically agree to allow the application to track your actions.
Adding an application that provides this functionality is purely optional. If you do not want to participate, please do not add the application to your account.
a little piece of mind goes a long way. its why i love facebook. i dont have to worry about the stalker haggs that littered my tracker with myspace.
