FaceBook Deactivation

Hi... If I deactivate my FaceBook account do my comments still stay on the pages of my friends or do they erase? Thanks

Re: FaceBook Deactivation

i have not tried to deactivate my profile to try it out. however, from what i have read, all of your comments will still stay on your friends walls and pictures, but no one can tell who its from, because the display picture will be of a question mark, and the name displayed will be "private."

Actually, I just permanently deleted my FaceBook account yesterday, and today i had my friend that was my friend on FaceBook check to see if my comments were still on her wall, and they weren't.

Everything gets deleted, once you deactivate....

You can deactivate your account and then have 2 weeks to reactivate it or you can permanently delete it.

2na, you were right, sort of. In the past, FaceBook used to only allow account deactivation.

Now you can permanently delete your facebook account by accessing this URL: http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=delete_account

I am trying to deactivate my Facebook account. I only have one password but it keeps telling me that the password is incorrect. I feel like a prisoner of Facebook.
