Facebook recent activity missing?

Quick question - I have got these new privacy settings mostly figured out. But there is one thing about the new settings that has me stumped - I hope someone can figure out how to fix this. I've tried every setting in the privacy settings and nothing seems to work.
Question is - why is my recent activity no longer showing on my wall? The only thing I can think of is that prior to the facebook privacy upgrade - I had all of the boxes unchecked for my recent activity so that people couldn't see when I commented on a picture or video etc.... So it makes me wonder if since I had all boxes unchecked prior to the change and NOW the recent activity option boxes are no longer available - maybe I'm stuck in some kind of limbo? If I had had them checked prior to the change then maybe I would still get to see my recent activity? If that makes sense. I guess the best way to ask is - Is there anybody that had all the boxes UNchecked before the changes last week but can still see their recent activity to this day somehow? Is there a setting hidden somewhere? I want the recent activity to show again. TIA!!

*Thanks for the feedback - the problem seemed to finally work itself out.

Go to bottom of page, edit options and even if there is nothing there (in the recent hidden activity) just click save and mine were restorted

I don't want to see (nor do I want anyone else to be able to see) on my wall what I'm commenting on or what I like. It's not their business. I'm not alone. Facebook should recognize this because what is going to happen is people are going to stop commenting and liking and ultimately quit their addiction to Facebook altogether. This is certainly not what Facebook wants, but they're doing themselves in by leaving this like it is.
I have scoured every little setting nook and cranny to find where the off switch is. Simply put - there isn't one. You have to manually delete every single one.

It's weird because that's true for other people's profiles after the change. I have my real and fake FaceBook account, and if I search for someone on my fake FaceBook, their recent activity shows up, but not wall posts past the initial posts. However, when I go into my real FaceBook account and click to the person's profile through a mutal friend, all of the wall posts + activities show up.

It's weird.

Re: Facebook recent activity missing?

looks like they've changed the recent activity privacy settings.

from http://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=privacy&section=profile
"Information about Recent Activity
Whether we display a story on your profile is now controlled by the privacy of the content itself. For example, only people who can see both your Wall, and the Wall to which you posted would be able to see a story about you writing on a friend’s Wall. If you want to remove a particular story that currently shows up, simply click the “Remove” button that appears to the right of the story after you move your mouse over it. Learn more about privacy here."

Essentially, a user no longer has the right to control the recent activity prior to it being shown. They must manually remove each recent activity if they want to not show it.

I tried deleting my posts manually by clicking the "remove button" but there's just one problem.... I Dont have a remove button! They took out the "newsfeed and Wall" settings and now everyone can see what I write on other people's pages... I really dont like it and I might stop posting on people's profiles all together now.....

Even if you manually delete the story from your wall it still appears on your friends' news feed on the homepage so they can still see who you have recently become friend with etc.

Re: Facebook recent activity missing?

So I seriously have screwed up my privacy settings trying to find these "recent activity" boxes, to uncheck. I hate when it goes back to my wall, because not only do other people see what and whom you are viewing. But it crams up your wall as well. Especially when you have 26+ similar stories. PLEASSSSSE someone help!
