So I have gone ahead and set all of my Facebook privacy settings to the highest level, meaning I'm virtually invisible to anyone who isn't my friend, including search, etc. My only question is, if I have posted previously on a friend's wall, will their friends (who are not my friends as well) be able to see it? Does it show up, but with no picture and an unclickable link to view my profile? Or does it not show up at all?

Thanks for any help!

Re: Facebook Wall Posts

How do I make it to where on my profile I can only see what my friends post instead of what I do on my page??

Re: Facebook Wall Posts

Go to the left side of your news feed and click on Friends then Status Updates, but this only shows what they post from the Status Bar, not posts from apps. To see everything. make a list with all of your friends on it. The list will be under Friends just like Status Updates.

If i Post something on my friends wall, how to i not make it from appearing on all my friends and our mutual friends homepages?

At the same time, all posts from applications should be made visible.

Re: Facebook Wall Posts

How do I make my wall posts visible on friend's profile but have my name unclickable to non-friends. (as described above)

I have tried very hard, but the two options I have when I post on a friend's page is to have my whole post hidden to non-friends or have my wall post visible and linked to my profile.

I have seen people who post to my friend's pages but I am not able to click their profile. I WANT THIS, Please let me know what all your settings are, because I can't find the right combination. Thanks!

Re: Facebook Wall Posts

Settings ----> Privacy Settings ----> Search Visibility = Only Friends

This will make you "unclickable" to anyone who is not your friend.

Re: Facebook Wall Posts

If you really have all of the privacy settings, your wall posts will be non-existant to everyone.

All settings, as in, unavailable for search,  posts visible to friends only - not networks or friends of.  Facebook has settings in several areas.   I do have some very private friends... they post things and my other friends can't see them at all.

Currently there is no such setting unless they block particular friends of yours. The only exception is when any friend posts a picture DIRECTLY on your wall, and that has nothing to do with any privacy setting.

If you set Wall Posts to "Only Friends" please note this means that only your friends can see YOUR wall. This does not mean that no one else can see what you write on your friends' walls. (Again, not unless you block people individually)

Re: Facebook Wall Posts

You can use fbarchive.com to create a private index of ALL your news/wall posts. Then you (and only you) can search it. But no one else can.
