How do I reformat without a CD .

hi
i have a great quality computer that i need to format but the CD drive wont read any disks
how do you reformat the hard drive without cd?

It can be done via network or USB, but there is a learning curve and usually a few tall hurdles to make things difficult.

IMO, the best solution at this point is to find out what the deal is with your DVD drive... you're going to want to have your drive working eventually since this is a nice computer, right?

Find a knowledgeable tech that will diagnose your hardware problem for a low fee and give you an estimate for repair.  Desktop drives are $25@cost and laptop drives are double that.

If you have a USB flash drive, then you can reformat your hard drive by making a copy of your Windows iso into your USB device, then boot from it.
