Just wanted to clarify that if i enable private browsing in safari, that my partner will not be able to see my browsing pages or history on his phone or pc. We share the same icloud account and i cant change that for personal reason. Just want to make sure my browsing is for my eyes only.

Re: iCloud browsing history
So I may sound like a stalking wife, but I have my reasons. My husband is deployed and has his phone, which he is able to use. I want to know his browsing history. How can I check that at? I'm positive he is sinked to icloud, but when I log into icloud from the computer I don't see an option to check history. Help please

Re: iCloud browsing history
Thats because there is no option in iCloud to do that just like the guy already said 3 times, right below where you posted this question.

Re: iCloud browsing history
Well obviously there's a way to view history somehow, otherwise they wouldn't put Safari history as an option for iCloud. So I'm guessing that I would have to delete my iCloud account on my phone and then log into his?

Re: iCloud browsing history

Where do you see Safari History as an option for iCloud?

Re: iCloud browsing history
Under settings, then iCloud. Under iCloud you have the option via tabs of what you want to sync. Such as mail, contacts, notes, calandra, safari

Re: iCloud browsing history

ok, right..That is for syncing Safari bookmarks and 'tabs' ..
Nowhere is there a 'safari history' sync option.. iCloud does not sync history -

Re: iCloud browsing history
Perhaps you know, My safari tabs sync/update only when the device is locked then safari re-opened. Do you know if there is a way to alter this? I was under the impression that icloud syncing was alomost instant when it comes to this. Thanks

Mine is hit & miss also.. There are no user-accessible settings to change it.

Does ICloud store my browsing history when I am not in private browsing mode?

Re: iCloud browsing history

It does not store your entire history that I am aware of (although that is stored for some time at least, locally); but if you have it enabled iCloud will share/store the current page you have open to make it quickly accessible from other devices.

Re: iCloud browsing history

"from iCloud" or using iCloud's functions, NO, you cannot remotely delete web-browsing history.

From the comment right below yours wrote:

Re: iCloud private browsing history

I have confirmed that when Private Browsing is enabled, not only does the iCloud Shared Tab option not show what web page you are on, but the entire iCloud Shared Tab history is also removed. Meaning the pages you had open while NOT browsing in "private mode" are removed.

I tested several pages, and looked at the iCloud Tabs on each device, with each device in, then out of private browsing, using Safari on a Mac running OS X 10.8.2 and an iPad, using iOS 6
