Will you go to jail for making a fake account?
YES! Facebook will automatically give your home address to the police and you will most likely be arrested, tried, and convicted for crimes against Facebook!
Bwahahahah! No, not really.
If you didn't violate any laws, you will not be in any trouble.
I have a fake account that I've been using for a couple of years. To look more legit, you want some sort of photo. Also you need to send friend requests out (you'd be surprised how many will accept without a second thought) , but be sure to be moderate each day. Otherwise, facebook will give you a warning about sending too many request's too soon.
THIS is VERY important! After logging off of your fake account, BE SURE to clean out your cookies/casche files. You will also want to do this if you log off your regular acct. and then to your fake acct.
Worst case situation? If they ask for a cellphone number, (at least here in the states). You buy a track pre-paid phone that will cost about $10.00
Not that any of you are wondering (I am anonymous anyway) but I created a female profile so this guy would befriend me (the female fake profile) . He is an ex of my ex and I wanted to keep tabs on his wall.
No.. You dont have to use a picture, but even if you did, it's doubtful that person would ever know.. And you can make up a name and other information..
FYI - it's also against the Facebook rules to create an account if you are under the age of 13...
You can get in trouble with Facebook - meaning they can close/ban the fake account.. That's about it..
What do you think?
No, you will not go to jail for making a fake Facebook account.. You won't get fined, or in any trouble with the criminal justice system whatsoever..
I am not the decider.. It is against the Facebook rules to create a fake account..
