So, I'll never get around to the second half of my beer blog. But a thread topic dedicated to my favorite tasty beverage is long overdue anyway.

Beer gets a bad rap. It's not as glamorous as liquor, not as fancy as wine. But there are so many types and flavors and seasonals and specialties that it can be so much more. From the drink of choice of the everyman, to the fanciest import of the "beer snob", there's a beer for everyone. Maybe you haven't found yours yet. Beer does not begin and end with Natty Ice. In fact, if Natty Ice is your choice of beer; well, lets just say "I'm sorry!"

Post in this thread your favorite beer, or even better, your least favorite. Maybe a story dedicated to a memorable beer-related experience. What was the first you ever had? And what is the local or regional brand that everyone else should be looking for to try? Ask me a question. I will try to find an answer or at least give my opinion. I work for a major beer distributor in the state of FL and besides that, I've done more than my fair share of beer testing. I would guess I've tried more than a hundred different kinds. I had a new beer for the first time tonight. So I'm always looking for something new.

I've always been a fan of Coors Light from a long time ago, however wine has been my choice of drink in the last few years. However, I recently tried the new Coors Light Activated Bottle where the label turns blue when it's at the right temperature!... AWESOME!

Only snobs reject beer! Beer is the nectar of the gods. Sort of.

I will pretty much drink whatever's around, unless it is really old malt liquor. I tend to stay away from darker ales because they taste gross.

You know what's good, though? Depending on your taste...Chelada. It's beer and Clamato, which sounds repulsive, but it actually tastes pretty good. Steer clear if you hate tomato juice, clams and beer.

I'm a low-maintenance, laid-back chick who loves nothing more than kicking back on the deck with an ice cold MGD. I also love Killian's on draft but fewer and fewer places offer it anymore. 

My Mom is a Beast drinker (gag) and I also absolutely cannot handle Busch.

I can immediately say that I CANT stand the beast (mw) or natural lite..YUCK

I drink a few diff ones when Im out with the girls but I like Becks , Heineken, and Corona w/ salt and lime of course. If a bar doesnt have those I will drink bud select

beer bloats me like a fish! but i do like several. okay, i/we like the following:

1. Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout
2. Fat Tire (Amber Ale)
3. Guinness Extra Stout
4. Corona
5. Doghead Brewery's 90 Minute IPA - the 120 floors me & it ain't pretty baby!

My fav: Hazed and Infused by the Rockies Brewing Company.

My least: eh, prob Corona. If you have to put a fruit in it to make it taste good, its probably not so good to start with. And its most people's idea of a fancy import beer, when there is so much more (and better!).
