verizon keeps text messages sent from their phonesfor 365 days..but to get them, you have to have a court order signed by a judge.
I have been reading everyone's posting. My boyfriend has Sprint instinct. So what I am understand is retrieving SMS for sprint instinct is impossible because there is no SIM card. Does anyone know the way to retrieve SMS for this particular phone?
wait wat about metro pcs? how lng does it take for the calls and txts to be erased and stuff since its prepaid?
Hi I have been reading your post and What you pay for is what you get. I have equipment and software that does extract deleted and much other information from cell phones. But the equipment, training and software are not cheap in any way. Way more than 69.00 as in some advertised novice spy toys and such. I do not charge the outlandish fee for this service however, I am very cheap. If I may assist please contact me for more information. Remember that once the text message or picture mail is deleted it remains either in the cell phone or on the SIM card until another deletion pushes it off. So time is of the essence. Hope this can answered some questions as to if it can be done, Yes, Is it expensive can be, Does it take long? Could. The equipment a lot of different cables for many different phones and they can get costly, Software is a few hundred dollars, traing on two places in the country offers it and that is not cheap. But you would be certified as a cellular forensic expert.
i am trying to do the same on mu husbands phone as discovered he been textin a woman from work he deleted all his sent texts but forgot to delete his inbox and i want to no if i get a sim card reader will i be wasting my money
They have a "cell phone spy deleted texts/data extractor". I have not used one before, but I hear it does actually work. This can only be used on cell phones that have a removable sim card.
How many deleted messages will I be able to recover?
Everything that is available to be recovered! Just like deleted files on a PC hard drive, as long as the deleted data on the SIM card hasn't been written over by a new file, it can still be retrieved. Some SIM cards hold more data than others, which is a factor in total amount of data. A 64k card from ATT for example can hold multiple pages of data. SIM card memory sizes will vary by phone / carrier. However, the CELL PHONE SPY is guaranteed to recover all and any deleted text message data that still resides on your phones SIM card. There are no other SIM CARD SPY products on the market today that will be able to view / recover as much deleted data from your SIM card as the SIM CARD SPY will recover off your SIM Card."
None of the above phones have removable SIM cards. Please make sure your cell phone has a SIM card before you purchase by reviewing your phones' documentation. If you are not sure, contact your cell phone provider first."
I used this device. It works. But not the way you want it too. In my opinion its a waste of money and effort
Just out of curiousity...what problems did you have using this product? When you say it does not work the way you want it to, what does that mean? I have never tried it but have been curious about it. I hope you do not mind me asking for some details....
I have his phone with me and know the voice mail password if that will help in the process. Is there anything that I can buy to download, etc. or will/can verizon send me past records?
well if you help pay or manage this account and you just happened to have log in credentials. you just may want to try the account online. there have been numerous times husband of mine has been over charged, so i look at the online billing statement and activity often.
is the account under your name? i know that AT&T sends an itemized record of both incoming and outgoing texts/calls. but that's only accessible to the account holder, unless you know your husbands password and can check online. although i'm not sure that Verizon also lists each and every call/text. i used to have an account with them, years ago, but don't remember...
and, as far as i know, it is very difficult, if not impossible, to get a carrier to give out information to anyone other than the account holder.
welcome to GUG by the way.

Verizon keeps a log of all acount info as stated above. They keep their records for two years. Even if your the account holder they will not give you the data contsined in old txts. Or photograph msgs. They will only give the info out to the judge that submits a subpeona for said records.
No, I figured the messages themselves weren't going to be given out. I just meant a list of the phone #'s dialed, etc. My bill lists each incoming/outgoing phone number. And states whether it was a phone call or a text. Guess that's a start...
