I didn't even know it was Award Season. I missed the Grammy's too. Quite frankly, I could care less about these shows. I used to watch the Grammy's but I am so sick of celebrities and what they do in their lives. Just entertain me, outside of that I don't care what award they win, where they poop, take out their trash, crash their car...NOTHING.
I'm with you all the way. There's way too many award shows, which are really just a way to get the celebs more face time. I can't believe people still care about these things.
I saw none of those. I saw Wall-E this year (think it was this year) with my kid and a few of his friends. I had Milk Duds and a Diet Coke.
I'm not crazy about a lot of the movies going up this year. I saw slumdog, Frost/Nixon, and Curious Case. I hated Slumdog, Frost was pretty good, and I loved Curious Case... So thats who I WANT to win. But I don't think it will. :(

Not to be picky, but there is a bit of an error in your list of nominees. Clint was not nominated as director of Changeling, though I wish he had been. The dude that directed Milk got the other nomination.
