Re: Can't able to get into my system

Can you select 'safe mode with networking' when you boot up? that should give you access to the internet.

Boot up in safe mode and run any antivirus/malware scanners you have... personally I suggest you get malwarebytes if you're getting the blue screen of death and run that in safemode... if the programs find anything, delete/remove the problems and see if you can boot up normally from there.

Re: Can't able to get into my system

thank you for your reply. I can able to log in 'safe mode with networking' and i can able to access the net. But problem is my system have sql database. In my company all are using that database. but now no one can able to access the database as my system logged as 'safe mode with networking'. Is there any other way to solve this??

Thank You

Re: Can't able to get into my system

What model Compaq do you have?  there should be a number like "Compaq Deskpro 2000 Desktop PC 5100" or something of the sort.

You may also want to check out this link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/231777

If it's part of the original installation, running a repair from the partition (if your computer has a partition set up for this) can possibly recover the missing file.

I have to apologize, I've not had much sleep so my advice might not be the best... but I have found that running a repair has helped me in the past whenever I lost a system file... but since I'm unfamiliar with Microsoft 2000, I'm not sure what exactly that file is.
