A consistant tracker

I use two trackers, myspace tracker from create a blog, to track blog hits and trackspace. The problem is trackspace seems to be all over the place showing a hit one time and the next time I look it is not there and the ip info is random, like hits from Norway. The two trackers sometimes conflict with information as well. The create-a-blog tracker seems better but I don't think It captures all the hits, since my target has made mention on things in a blog that wasn't tracked. Is there a way for the target to avoid detection. She using a home pc as well as her cell phone from verizon. Does the ip from the phone change? What is the best tracker to use to have the most consistant info? Any suggestions would be helpful, it seems as though I am chasing my tail. Also is there a way to better decifer ip info? The tracker will say locations that are distant but with a local server to me, ie reverse dns c-75-68-40-107.hsd1.nh.comcast.net but have an address of mt. laurel nj. What does that mean?

Trackers have an awful lot of variables, so none of them are accurate enough to pick up 100% of your hits.  Where the tracker code is place on your page, and how long the person was on your page can affect it.  So, if someone visits your page, but clicks away quickly, your tracker can easily miss that hit.

I ran your hostname through MaxMind, and came up with Londonderry, NH:

 http://www.maxmind.com/app/locate_ip

IPs will never track you right to the person's house, if that's what you're asking.  Not without legal intervention in the way of a subpoena, anyway.   You'll often find that the IP tracks to a few towns over.  If it's AOL or RoadRunner, it'll almost always come back to either Reston or Herndon, VA.  I don't know if ComCast has offices in Mt. Laurel, NJ, but that could be why you got that as a result.

Her cell phone may be blocked from trackers, someone who uses Verizon will be able to better answer that for you.

Thanks, so essentially I guess i will never know if she is using the page or not, since she uses multiple online sources. But thanks. Funny thing is my ip always says Portsmouth nh, surprised you got Londonderry. Also does someone have a list of ISP locations like aol being in VA as was previously mentioned

You can run IPs through that URL I posted, and several others, and they can each come up just a little bit different.  Mine almost never comes up for the city I actually live in, but a small handful of surrounding cities instead.  Most of them will give you the same results for AOL, etc, though, so you'll see it on there.
