I got the new Nickelback cd Dark Horse and really love it!  I am a big Aerosmith fan as well, lol!!  Love the song Don't Want To Miss a Thing from the movie Amaggeddon with Bruce Willis.

Really?  Why r they my favorite?  If u have to ask u may not understand.

Rock was born of the blues - it's a life, a soul, an emotional expression............many rock bands have morphed that into something so synthetic that its roots are barely discernible.............however, AEROSMITH, the tour d'force.......................they feel it, live it, play it and have EARNED IT.

Last year I saw then twice in 48 hours and drove through four states to do it.  :)

awesome response.  i am a total rock girl.  from the classics and on.  i love many different types of music but rock is in my soul.  and Aerosmith is definitely a force to be reckoned with in the rock world.

Re: AEROSMITH

I like 'em!  First real rock LP I bought on my own was "Get Your Wings" (uh.. mid-early 70's) which IMO is one of history's top-10 albums.  That being said, I saw them several times in the 70's and although I was pretty wasted at those concerts, I was still coherent enough to recognize major suckage.  They blew.  But they had an excuse - I think they were all shooting smack at the time.

But Joe Perry does rock!  I think he has passed Keith Richards up in who's going to survive Armageddon.

haha! nice pun. joe perry may survive the arm., but keith richards gets the award for oldest-hardest looking rocker! he is vintage at its best. we saw the stones last time they rolled thru phoenix and i have no idea how richards can even stand & play at the same time, let alone stay awake.

aerosmith is indeed a great ol'rock band. the last music i purchased of theirs was "get a grip" - - husband of mine and i were in boise at the time and seen them perform at bsu. let tell you what a treat it was to have rock music in that town!

Re: AEROSMITH

I like their songs, but not a huge fan.  I don't own any CDs or anything, but they do have great sounding tunes.
