I'm finding it amusing that if you live anywhere in NY State except The City, (and by "The City", I DON'T mean Buffalo like the locals here do) you live in "upstate" New York.  I'm actually about as far south in the state you can be without crossing into PA, but very, very far west.  It's soooo pretty, though. 

love upstate! i have fond memories of traveling around there when i was younger. beautiful photos!
