Bluevoda, html, and a mess.

Alright, so my boss has a restaurant site. he wants to pull the source code and use it with this program called bluevoda, i pulled the source for him which is all raw html, that was the easy part, now heres the hard part. he wants to be able to edit it how he wants, but i dont know how to actually get the html to render on bluevoda itself, heres how it works,
you put your stuff on bluevoda, and it renders it once you publish, but he doesnt wana publish till its done, i have next to no clue how to use bluevoda, if anyone here does, can they please give me a few pointers to pass on?

Re: Bluevoda

yah well, just 'cause you're a webmaster doesnt mean you know about every web-builder out there..

So looking at it, it looks like just another one of the bazillion WYSIWYG website builders.. Can you take your HTML, put it into a local .HTML file and view the rendered page in your browser - then copy & paste the rendered text into the Bluevoda editor ?

i didnt think about that, and im not sure if i cant do that, because it seems like its all too flashy to allow something so simple, that and theres drop down boxes and forms that have to go in too, and i just dont know enough about bluevoda to help this much, it doesnt help that it has its own compilation code, .bvp files

Sounds like frontpage or one of those "website in a can' places. Most of those sites dont allow raw html (or php or anything else for that matter) since theyre basically drag and drop installation  programs. Im thinking the reason it wont render correctly is that the builer has pre-placed snippets of code such as meta, header, page properties etc and when you try to insert actual html codes it will render it WYSIWYG instead of in raw.
