Car Audio
I have 2 12" Boston RS12 subwoofers. Following are specs i found online. Peak input power: 400W Continous input power: 200W RMS Sensitivity: 95 db Normal Impedance: 4 and 8 ohm (says 4 ohm on the speaker) I also have a Boss amp BA-960. Following are also specs I found online. 4 channel 4 x 250w MOSFET amplifier 4 x 150W RMS ou 2 x 350W RMS 2 ohm stable built in high & low pass crossover tri-mode capable RCA inputs (I know, old equipment) I am not sure how the whole ohm thing works and if I should be bridging the amp or not. Please help me in how this should be wired for safe and best performance. They are powered by a Pioneer AVIC D1 head unit which also has settings to change frequency going to subs among other things. If you can give me any information as to how this all should be tuned such as gains on amp, crossover on amp, settings in radio, that would be very helpful. Thank you in advance
