uhm well i'm used to being in the cold for Christmas so it's all i know. it definitely brings to mind what the day should be like when i see people all hudled up with hot chocolate in hand, cold winds blowing outside the window.
are you really going to come over here for the Macy's Day Parade? i'm sure it's a blast. good luck though! lol.

I have a stupid question, for all those in warm weather areas...
Do he christmas decorations all still have that "winter feel" to them, like do they have pictures of snow, and snowmen etc Or do they warm it up for those areas?

both! lots of people do theme trees out west: "western" "roosters" (no, truly) and just a compilation of ornaments collected over the years. i go for size and color. never equated the whole "cold/snow/brrrr/christmas looking" ornaments into my tree decorating. you've seen my inverted tree. basically it is just standing art for 30-days or so. boy how that may change here.
awe yes, what we knew as the "norm" is quite a bit different from what i am learning now!
sometimes when it is windy, we get tumble weeds that blow across the desert. we stack three high, buy that fake snow that sprays on windows, and spray on the the tumble weeds and wella! a snowman.
