All the advertising

Whats up with the blue words with the 2 lines under them. I know they're advertisments but is this something that GuG is having to do to make money?

It's actually an experiment in rotating different advertisements and showing to different users.. and yes, advertising is something GuG has to do to make money.. Servers and bandwidth are not free!

FWIW: GuG has the LEAST amount of ads amongst most websites of the same size/popularity.

FF and AdBlock Plus. I don't ever have to look at ads.
