With a son that just turned driving age I thought, why get him driving some tin can from a recycled aluminum and plastics plant, I mean like my Mazda 5. Don't get me wrong, it's a great car and it serves the family well, but people drive......well.....let's say pre-oocupied!
Which got me to thinking, What '60's or '70's Detroit Muscle would be good for a father and son project car. I'm leaning towards............
1967 Pontiac GTO with the 400hp HO option, M21 Muncie 4 speed, and a good old 4:11 positrac rearend! Of course we would make it a "Green" vehicle by either building it to run on alcohol or really green and run it on propane.
What's your dream Muscle? Brad Pitt does not count!
hmmm. favorite would be difficult to narrow down. there are some body types i tend to favor, such as those you listed in my thread: GTO's, 442's, Camaros, Chevelles, Nova II's, and Impala SS.
so to narrow it, gee. i would have to say a '70 Chevelle SS LS-6 w/a 454 V8, with cowl induction. oh, and it must be red w/the black power stripes on the hood.
><))))'>

Nice ride for the big body coupe. The LS6 option was a great option for the Chevelle. And it just ain't a Chevelle without the Fat Blacks! Scccrrreeeaaaammmmiiinnnn!
This will one day be mine. Just, not too soon, I hope.

Would that be a '65 Impala 2 door?
