Honestly, it just depends on which Braums you work for. Yes the customers are rude. But all together is a great place to work. I don't know where all of these guys work, but my Braums is nothing like this.

I just started like two days ago and I love it like they really train you and not half ass like they do at taco bell it's going to be a real learning process but it a good fit for people who are good talkers

It sucks. I've worked there for almost a year and i've never hated a place more than Braums. Apperantly i can have no life outside of work, only working when people don't do their part. Don't try and get it dude, just don't.

I just started at Braums and I don't like it one bit. The first three hour day I had I was put up front. I kept feeling like I was messing up. I'm not a screamer so everytime someone orders a milkshake, I don't want to yell that across the place. I have to bad of anxiety to work there. If you can deal with people running all around you and your surroundings being loud, go for it.

It's honestly hell. Some days are better than others because of the crew you have with you on a given night/day, but still. If you're looking for a summer "part time" job be prepared to work 40 hour weeks because they know damn well you aren't going to school and they can use you as much as they want.

Super high turnover rate with super low work quality/training efficiency, cleanliness (screw health codes, right?), customer service. Stay away from Braums.

So like I currently work at Braum's. I tried quitting but was pretty much "forced" to come back when I could not get a job anywhere else in my town. My managers must be sadistic or somethin' because they always treat employees like absolute trash (with the exception of the store manager and morning manager). I always get put on trash duty, im always yelled at for doing what I'm supposed to (helping with other registers and what not). After I left for a little bit, I came back and it was worse than before. There are now about 6 new hires, all of which are totally incompetent and just sit on their phones (one got put on closing shift and he just sat on his phone the entire time, unacceptable!) We also had an employee get promoted to manager, which i can understand since she's worked here for 3 years. It all just goes to shit when people feel the need to gossip and start shit during work. I wouldn't recommend working at Braum's at all, if it wasnt for my sister tricking me I wouldn't have even started working there in the first place

Braums store managers get changed a lot, you don’t get trained properly, very much learn as you go kind of job and when you mess up your coworkers laugh at you instead of helping

Working at braums?

I have been working at Braums for two weeks and I love the work, but not so much my co-workers. When I say I love the work I mean I love making customers happy with each order, even if I mess up. The best tip I can give you is to multi-task !! For example, if someone ask for 3 cones and 2 milkshakes I would go ahead and knock out the milkshake orders because that's the hardest for me to make and then I make all 3 of my cones at once. Multi-tasking and completing all your orders at once gives you more time to remake orders in case of a mistake without the extra stress. You have to work very fast though because lines wrap around the building pretty quickly so there is not much time for error. I make $8.50 an hour for now, and after 3 months I will start making $9/hr which I think is pretty crappy for the amount of work I put in. There are some customers who are down right rude and we have other workers who tend to slack off a bit, but the managers notice and pretty much single out the problems.
