Creepy Employees, Machine Guns, Short fuses....OH MY!

No matter where you work, there has to be that one person that just makes your skin crawl. The one that no one wants to ride the elevator with. The one that talks to themselves in the bathroom stall. You know which one I'm talking about. *(Hey, YOU might even be the creepy employee that no one wants to be around). I started thinking about all this when recently in my office, we let a some crazy guy go because he just lost one marble too many. he would be seen in the elevator banks, mumbling to himself and kicking the elevator doors. He would curse obscene profanities in his office. He would talk about how easier it was to kill some people than to tolerate them. Yeah total nut job. So I'm asking all my fellow GuGs to share their creepy worker story.

*Disclaimer note: If you DO happen to be that creepy guy/girl, please refrain from reading any further. We do not wish to offend, so please put that AK 47 down please!!

Heh, heh.  I started writing a thread very similar to this one day but had to stop due to annoying people in the office bothering me.  Ok, well- my office.   It could be a tv show.  Seriously.  We used to have this one guy who would insist on telling the bosses why he was arrested the night before.  Or look at porn while he was at his desk.  That was pretty bad.  There was also the girl who you would catch speaking to the walls all the time.  Who had porn guy wrapped around her finger so they were like a duo of crazy.  After one girl was let go, we discovered an email a friend of hers had sent her which gave instructions on how to blow a building up.  And one of the last office assistants said that he should just bomb the office, after my boss let him go.  Afterwards we started receiving phone calls, where the (male) caller would shout profanities and then hang up.

Oh did I mention the newest creepy office assistant who insists on standing, silently, outside the ladies bathroom door, won't knock so that someone can let her in, but instead runs away when she hears the door being opened, turns back around and pretends like she hadn't been standing outside the bathroom for the last 10 minutes?  But WE know she was because, not only can you see her shadow moving back and forth under the door as she stands there quietly, you can hear her as she scuttles away and then comes back.  Yeah.

PS- If one of the above referenced crazies, I mean people, is reading this- Please don't blow up our office.  It's not our fault you were fired.  Or, at least wait till I go out for lunch.  Thanks.

Strange.....very strange.  Have you tried sneaking upon the door and surprising her?

Re: Creepy Employees, Machine Guns, Short fuses....OH MY!

Boyfriend's company recently let go of a real winner.  She wandered into the company IT guy's office, and asked if she could "borrow a wall".  IT guy said yes, just to see what she planned on doing with a borrowed wall.  I'd be rather curious myself.  Turns out, yoga.  She balanced herself on her head and started meditating, right in Vinnie's office!  Ohm.....  Anywho, then Bibles started appearing in random places all over the office.  On the bosses desk (He's Jewish, BTW, so I don't think he was necessarily pleased with one of his employees trying to convert him), in the guy's work trucks, on the conference room table right before a big meeting with potential clients, pretty much everywhere.  So, the boss asked her to stop.  She didn't.  In fact, she seemed to redouble her efforts after being told to stop.  It was almost creepy, how many Bibles were suddenly piled up at this alarm company.

The company finally decided to fire her, I can't recall their exact reason.  She refused to accept being fired!  The office manager gave her the news right before lunchtime on a Wednesday.   She left immediately after, and then CAME BACK as though she had just left for lunch, nothing out of the ordinary.  The owner of the company stepped up and personally fired her.  Again, she said "no" and continued to work as though nothing had happened.  The boss finally wound up calling the police to try to remove her from the premises.  She told the cops the company wasn't allowed to fire her because she hadn't even been there long enough to finish her probation period.  The cops somehow finally convinced her to leave, and everyone thought that would be the end of things.  Nope.  She skipped Thursday, and came back again Friday morning.  She was the very first person at the office, almost 3 full hours before the rest of the office staff (as versus the outside guys, like installations and service) should have started.  Boyfriend is usually the first one at the office, so he noticed her, and immediately called the boss, who in turn said call the police.  So, she wound up getting arrested.  To my knowledge, they haven't heard from her since.

One day one of the other girls in the office got flowers delivered.  Well the one diet salad crazed secretary thought the flowers looked good and ate them "they looked so pretty in the salad".

Some like to eat 'em

Some like to smell 'em

Oh I would have been so angry if I came back and my pretty flowers were in someone's stomach!!  How insane is that!
