Dave and Busters

So, I keep hearing about this place, Dave and Busters, on tv and the radio. I looked up the website. It sounds like so much fun! Anyone been there? What are the prices? Is the food good? What's the atmosphere? I want to know all about it! Reviews, anyone?

I actually like this place. It's kinda loud but the atmosphere was good. It's a cool place for a date, because you have everything, you can play pool, watch the game on TV, have a beer and get something to eat. The only downside I would say is that there were too many kids in the restaurant part and quite a few teenagers playing in the game area, but if that doesn't bother you I would recommend it. :)

I agree 100%, and depending on your local D&B, after 8PM on weekends, you must be 21 to enter.

On the website, it says 18 and up. It then says 5 minors to 1 adult limit, or something along those lines.... I wondered if it meant 18 as a minor?

The one I'm interested in is at the Opry Mills Mall around Nashville, TN. I think they even have bowling at that one.  I really want to go, but didn't want to get there and be disappointed, lol.

What's it mean when it says something about a play card? Do you actually buy a card to play games? And what on earth do you win?

i think they are referring to their rewards program. you can also read reviews here by location/state.

Yes, no coins involved, you put money on a card. You win tickets, for certain games, and then can cash them in. And save them to get bigger prizes. Sorta like the shore... um... or a regular arcade.

When I went it was around 5pm, we went there for my sons birthday a year or so ago, so maybe you're better off going later that way the kids will be out of the way. It's worth a try, you can always walk in and out again if you don't like it.

The ex and I went there once, many years ago.  The food was ok, nothing spectacular, your average chain restaurant fare, but the games and such were a nice addition.  We went with a large group, it was a lot of fun.  Dunno, I think it might have been boring if it was just the 2 of us, it's more of a "group date" kinda place, I think.

I use to take my kids to D&B a lot. Until the local teenagers decided to make it a hang out. The food is mediocre at best and they are kind of pricey. If you're going to go, have lunch there then there will be less people.

I like D&B.... well that's an understatement... I try to stay away because if you're an arcade addict like me, you'll spend a ton of $$ before you even realize it... yep, I'm that chick hogging the DDR game, ski ball, and those crane machines... stay at least arm swinging length away from me... :)

Wait... where did that $100 just go?? :(
