The Eagles - Eden show

We went to see The Eagles last night and WOW.. Those guys are old but they can still rock the place! They went for more than 3 hours, playing almost nothing but the classics. Joe Walsh nearly brought the place down with Life's Been Good To Me So far.. We had ground floor seats just a few rows away from the stage - well worth the ungodly price.

We could not get over how the audience ranged from age 18 to age 70.

Is Walsh drinking again?  He's so much more fun when he's hammered...

www.youtube.com/watch This is Joe Walsh's "I got sober" song.  Man it blows chunks.  If he played it, he's probably still on the wagon.  If he played this (*NSFW*), however, he's probably drunk and fun again.

I love Joe.  He's a local, went to High School in Montclair, NJ.  Several years ago, back in the late 80's, maybe early 90's, he got caught breaking into his alma mater.  He was drunk out of his mind, and just trying to relive old times.  When he got caught, he told the cops, "I play for the Eagles, man".  The cops responded with, "Sir, you are NOT a professional football player."  Awesomeness on a stick.

he didnt play either song, but based on how clean and shiny he looks in that "I got sober" song, i'd say he's drinking again. He looked a lot more "relaxed" on Saturday night.

And, BTW, is it just me or could these 3 guys all pass as brothers (Walsh is at the right)?

Harvey Keitel, Randy Quaid and Joe Walsh

Watching Joe Walsh from just a few feet away, the whole time i was thinking "man, that guy looks like Harvey Keitel" - Cant see it as much in the photograph, but he DOES look a lot like him.

OK, not so much the one on the left, but yeah, the resemblance between Keitel and Walsh is creepy, almost like looking at Jim/John Belushi pictures from back in the day.
