he was (true story) bringing his pregnant wife to the ER. she was in labor! i guess he rushed the cop too fast because he actually pulled his gun out and pointed at my friend. well my friend ended up deilvering his daughter in the car and lived to tell the tale.

oh geez... if she's in labor, ya know.. come on.  Let them go, or follow them to the hospital and give the man the ticket there after the pregnant women gets admitted.  geez.  Well, at least he got an interesting story out of it.

  • Be careful what you say: Remember, theyre just doing their job. No matter how silly you might think it is. As the Officer says " I never demand respect, but i dont tolerate dis-respect" No one is happy to get a ticket, but arguing (or worse) wont help matters.

Things never to say to an Officer, to answer to a Officer's Questions

1) Nice Titts (Well she was cute and her uniform was such that they popped out when she bent into the window"...some officers have no sence of Humor)

2) "Because of the dead body in the trunk?" (in response to "Do you know why I pulled you over"...some officers have no sence of Humor)

3) "I'll have a Burger,Large fires,Shake....is it to late for Scrambled eggs?"  (well they look like a drive in waiter/waitress with that big pad"...some officers have no sence of Humor)

4) "I don't know cause my Speedometer stops at 120MPH" ( in repsonse to "Do you know how fast you where going?""...some officers have no sence of Humor)

5) "Your're cuter then my last stalker that used to like to pretend to be a police officer"  (same one I said "Nice titts" to"...some officers have no sence of Humor...or maybe she did cause I don't think being handcuffed and "stripped searched" in the back of her cruiser was part of getting a speeding ticket....I don't think she was a cop after all)

I followed the link and it's about how to buy a car.

"Smile and shake his hand. Be friendly. You want him to like you so that he'll work harder for you."

Maybe that's what I should have said when I got pulled over, "Don't forget YOU work for ME."  LOL

OK...so this is a "tip" if you ever get pulled over for speeding.....Which I have by a State-trooper! It was the funniest thing! He asked me, "mam, why are you going so fast? "Well officer, I'm trying to keep UP with the other cars"...."Mam there is no cars around".....I know, I'm trying to keep UP! He laughed SO hard...He let me out of a ticket! I was going 90 in a 70 mph! hahahahaha

Re: Ever Been Pulled Over? Here's a few tips!

I *had* to stop and read this one as me AND my hubby both got tickets yesterday!  It was crazy!  Both were from state troopers...in the same county...and both tickets were given while we were driving my truck!  LOL no, not driving it at the same time...I got my ticket not even a mile from our house.  I am going to court over this one - I might not get out of it, but the cop flat out LIED about clocking me, speed, etc.  And he was quite rude!  I have never had a police officer be rude to me.  LOL I am not good about crying my way out of them; usually I get just a verbal warning, but this guy was plain rude.  He says he clocked me topping a hill doing 50, then braking hard and cruising by him at 45.  Speed limit is 35.  First of all, where I topped the hill vs where he was parked - he couldn't see me.  He was down the hill and around a curve from where I came over.  Secondly, he was facing away from me so unless he had a hand radar gun or rear-mounted gun, he couldn't clock me anyway (and that would be after I topped the hill, came down and around the curve).  Thirdly, how does he know I was speeding?  IF he could have clocked anyone, how does he know they didn't turn left on the road that is before the curve that you have to go around for him to clock you?  Know what I'm saying?  I went back and took pics of the view from where I was, where he was, etc.  I mean, if I am speeding (which I wasn't; it was raining and what idiot speeds past a cop?) and you catch me fair and square - that is one thing.  But do not lie to me, saying you clocked me when there was no way you could have.  That infuriates me.

So then hubby takes my truck to meet up with a friend...on the way home he gets a ticket!  He was definitely speeding and won't be getting out of that one.  Sigh.  Undoubtedly the AL state troopers are looking to give tickets.  You never see them on our road ('lil country road) and hubby passed one, then three lined up bumper to bumper, then got a ticket, and passed another one on the way home!  They were all on a road that you never see them on.  Local police or sherriffs yes.  But NEVER state troopers.  I don't know what's up.

As far as the "stay in the car" tip - I have to share this one - my friend moved from AZ to OH.  In AZ it was legal to do U-turns; in OH it's not.  She did a U-turn and got pulled over.  Goofy friend gets out of the car to speak to the officer (I'm like NO YOU DIDN'T - YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO STAY IN THE CAR!!!).  Since friend got out of the car, it's an automatic OK for the cops to search it.  At the time she was single and traveled out of town a lot going to dog shows.  She had a pistol under the seat from the last out of town trip.  Cop finds it and now they are REALLY searching the car.  We have Samoyeds - big fuzzy white dogs - this may sound strange, but for white dogs, cornstarch is an easy waterless way to clean them up.  She had a tupperware type container full of cornstarch in her car.  LOL the cop sees "white powder" and asks Jan "what's this?"  She starts laughing and says "cornstarch."  Of course copper doesn't believe her and has to taste it.  By now she is just dying laughing (handcuffs and all) and the cop is like "hmmmm."  They took her gun, wrote her a ticket and let her go.  I forget how she got off the ticket (I think knew someone who knew someone) but thank goodness she got off b/c she would have been charged with a felony for having the gun.

She believes me now when I say DO NOT GET OUT OF THE CAR.  :)

omg! did you just die when she told you? you know i'm from az and you are 100% correct about their laws rules! i'm shocked they didn't impound her car and haul her off. the only other zero tolerance state that is actually worse imho, is texas. those good ol'boy texas troopers are trigger happy and can write up a citation like no tomorrow!
