Re: Facebook: Deactivated or Blocked?

Hi!
I also can't decide whether I'm blocked or my friend deleted or deactivated his account. On PC his name don't show in the search field, but among my friends list, he's there with the basic profile picture and if I click his name it says the profile is inactivated. His comments disappeared too, but the old conversations are there with the profile picture he changed last week (name is black and can't be clicked). BUT on mobile, there are some post left on his wall, as well his name is showing on the search field, comments also there (some bug on mobile?). What is strange, that after his profile and wall disappeared, he was using messenger the next day too. I don't think that I'm blocked because our mutual friend also can't see his profile. So, it is deactivated or deleted? :S

Re: Facebook: Deactivated or Blocked?

I have a soon to be ex wife in Thailand. She told me that she deleted her Facebook. She disappeared of my friends list and all my family. Just to check I made another Facebook on another email address. I looked at a once mutual friends friends list using my alternative Facebook. My soon to be ex wife appears on her friends list but it's only black letters and no picture and no add friend. Does this mean she only deactivated her Facebook and did not delete it?

Re: Facebook: Non-friend User account Deactivated or Blocked?

I have been occasionally visiting the Facebook page of a person I briefly dated but we were never friends on FaceBook. I have never "liked" anything on his page because (as we are not "friends") I obviously cannot. But I like seeing from time to what new photos he posts because he's a good photographer. I am not friends with any of his friends either.
Today when I entered his FaceBook name in the search box, all that came up is that the message: Sorry, this content isn't available right now
The link you followed may have expired, or the page may only be visible to an audience you're not in.

I have a second FaceBook account that I never use and have never visited his page with, and when I log on to FaceBook and search for him with that the same message appears, so it cannot be that I was personally blocked as there is no prior visit to his page by me using my alternative FaceBook id.

Also, I tried to poke around by visiting some of the FaceBook pages of people who commented on his posts, and posts that he wrote on their pages have also disappeared.

So, I am thinking that I was not personally blocked but that he either deactivated his account or deleted it. He sometimes has posts with "racy" dialect phrases (he is Italian), so I am wondering if it was reported and removed by FaceBook? Seems unlikely, but I am curious if it's possible to know which of the 3 scenarios could be right (deactivated, deleted or reported). I initially thought it was a glitch in the FaceBook system but he really has disappeared. :-(

Lastly, if he decides to open a new FaceBook page, is there a way I could find it?
Thanks for your help
