Do forum administrators have access to the passwords you use to log onto their forum?
On one forum I used to post on a few years back, I (follishly) used my main email address for my account on that forum and I think I used the same password to log onto that one as well as the same password for that email address. I didn't really think any thing of it at the time because that was pretty much the only email address I used for anything.
Now I'm wondering if they were able to log on and read my emails or do anything crafty with it.
That's why I want a record of IP address that habe logged onto my email from 2008 til fairly recently.
Any ideas?
Thanks
It depends on the forum, how it's setup and who has permission to what, but worst case YES .. The forum administrator/owner as well as the database administrator potentially has access to your stored password for the forum.

Sure, those websites are great if you enjoy flushing your money down the toilet.
i think i've already answered that question in 2 or 3 other posts of yours, but from where i sit, these are the two options i see:
1) spend your life-savings on an attorney to get a court order for the information
2) forget about it and move on
I really would not be very worried about somone seeing my CV or email conversations with my friends. I would choose option #2.. But that's just me.. If its really that important.. And if you can afford it, go for option #1..
