CRAZY Weather

Okay... so I'm sitting here and hear something that sounds like thunder... then rain... now it's POURING... when I initially heard the thunder I went to weather.com.  Nothing on the radar... 10 minutes later and I just checked it... animated it...

This strip of thunderstorms just materialized on top of me out of NOTHING... possible hail and 40mph winds...

I thought I was going crazy when the radar didn't show a speck of green on top of me and it was raining outside at first. Half the time it's not raining when we're in the RED, so... yeah... that was odd.

So... can you imagine getting hit with a chunk of hail as it's soaring through 40mph winds?

This place sucks even more now.

Re: CRAZY Weather

You get used to it after a while... The threat of wind and hail? Eh, not that big of a deal. Tornado warnings *can* be, depending on what part of the county the tornado is over and if they actually think their might be one. What I'm trying to say is, that the longer you have to live with the storms, the less of a deal they become. Just don't get blown away before that time comes!

Oh, and summer is terrible for pop up storms. :(

Re: CRAZY Weather

Just to show you how random the storms are around here as it gets warmer, the counties to the west, east, and south of me are all under severe thunderstorm warnings... nothing here. Not even raining. Totally dodged us.... *shrug* Welcome to the deep south! :)
