her eyebrows look great - - but then again, i think that the thicker look is for youth....younger girls. and that is just my opinion. brow thickness also depends on a woman's features, and in some cases nationality. you could have someone petite with thick brows and they could look ten times better with thinned out brows. i think eastern indian women are beautiful with a thicker brow, especially with darker skin tones.

I just rolled all over from reading "big man brows".   I have to remember that!

I thought it was so cool of him to agree to it too.  Not too many would.  But I get it, it's prom, she wants to look her best.  And she wants you to look yours too.  Special events call for special measures ;)

Manscaping is a great idea for those who want it and need it.  Mani-up.

Re: Getting your brows in shape...

I have naturally thin eyebrows so I have to go to a particular place to get them to look like they exist.  I refuse to use a sharpie to make them look thicker.  I've gotten them waxed, tweezed, razored, threaded, and the only thing that really works is that one place and they use the razor.

I used to switch between getting mine waxed, and doing it myself with tweezers.  No more!!!  A new shop opened a few blocks from my place, she did a phenomenal job on my hair, so I let her experiment on me with threading.  I'm in love!  I'll never deal with hot, goopy wax or ouchy, make-me-sneeze-uncontrollably tweezing again.

I've always wanted to try threading. I prefer to wax, either myself or have someone do it. I love the peel apart wax strips. The ones you rub between your hands and then use because you can cut them to the shape you want your brows to be and just clean it up with a little tweeze :)

I B CUTE! Don't argue with me I know I'm cute!

You'll LOVE it, I swear!  I don't know how prices are by you, but here, threading is actually cheaper than waxing AND it hurts less!

I know I can get a five dollar wax here. Not sure about threading. I'll have to check into it a little more ;) Thanks. I'm always for LESS pain.

Not only is it less painful, I don't look like I have hives, or spent half a day crying for the next 5 hours.  Whenever I get my eyebrows waxed, I'm bright red and puffy in the areas she touched on.  With threading, my skin looks normal afterwards.  Around here, a wax is around $7, and threading is usually $5.

The first time I had ever heard of threading was threading the hair line.  Jennifer Aniston does that.  It was a few years ago.  But soon after that I was reading about threading eyebrows too.  I have a lot of girlfriends who love it.  But I've also heard some stories that it wasn't for them and it hurt.  And it shouldn't hurt.  I'm really glad you were willing to be so open-minded to it Lady.  Plus that it worked for you too :) Yay another thumbs up threading person :)

Great alternative too if you're super sensitive to waxing.

p.s ibcute81 if you try it comeback and let us know how it worked out for you!
