Man Cave

My favorite room right now is my man cave. I tok a section of our sort of unfinished basement and made it mine. I was organizing the basement a tiny bit when I got the idea. I put in an old computer desk, my spare Linux Mint computer that I pieced together, my old stereo is hooked up to the computer for sound, an old printer, my mountain bike is set up on my trainer and some spare computer parts. What I love is having a spare computer connected to the internet as well as having my trainer set up in front of it so I can watch DVDs while I ride. It keeps my bike out of the living room where I used to ride my trainer.

The funny thing about my basement is that it is p to the izzle specific. In other words, the ceiling is about 5'9" tall so my wife has to duck to come down as do most of my friends. So it's my world!

Keep in mind the basement is still a wreck and will stay that way for a while. My chair, monitor, and computer were all thrown away by someone else and I saved them and brought them back to life.

PiZ...husband of mine is so jealous right now. this was his 1,000 sq ft man cave at our AZ home. it housed his bar, wine frige, beer fridge, billiard table, pinball machine, storage, harley davidson, mastercraft ski boat, vintage '74 camaro z28, commercial size/powered telescope & accessories, tv, audio/tunes, iMac, and everything else he could squeeze in that space + a commercial grade 12' roll up garage door (to pull the boat in and out). had a door to the master bath. also a door to the pool & back yard. this pics shows a few boxes and an empty space where the camaro was as we were preparing for the move.

p, your mancave reminds me of my garage.  I guess that's my hubby's mancave.  We don't have basements here in Texas.

Well my garage will be my man cave annex pretty soon. I'm turning my two plus car garage into a skatepark. I'm working (slowly) on filling it wall to wall with a mini ramp.

I really like the chair! Is it as comfortable as it appears to be ? I'm glad you are a biker, it shows you keep yourself in shape.

Yeah that chair is pretty comfy. It was thrown out at my work and I wanted an extra chair so I snagged it and fixed it. Two screws needed to be tightened an the base. It's seen many a day but still works just fine. That's kind of the theme down there. I've since added my XP box and an old headless laptop to the collection. The laptop runs Puppy linux and I use a spare keyboard and mouse to make up for the amputation it suffered.

my parents just remodeled our house and left the basement unfinished.... it makes for a great man cave. I love it!
