GuG SuperBowl XLIII Countdown

Everyone is excited to watch the final NFL game next weekend. The 43rd Super Bowl also known as the Super Bowl XLIII is February 1st, 2009 in Tampa, FL at the Raymond James Stadium. The Pittsburgh Steelers are all too familiar with the SuperBowl with a total of 6 played games and 5 bowl victories. The Arizona Cardinals are new to this title bowl.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be this year's half time show performers. Faith Hill will perform a pregame song. Jennifer Hudson will sing our National Anthem. And of course, the famous 1Bowl commercials will have us all in stitches! Who will you be rooting for this game?

This would be the team.  My uncle is on cloud nine right now.  He's been a die hard Steelers fan since he was a teenager.  Actually saying that he is on cloud nine would be an understatement :)

Calling for a huge Superbowl party.  He even went so far as buying all his sisters and us girls girly Steelers tees.  He's not joking around LOL

I don't really mind who wins, I just want to make some moola off the squares I picked, la la la :p

I'll be rooting for Bruce.  It's also nice to see Jennifer Hudson "back in the saddle" so to speak, after everything that happened in the Autumn.

i always look forward to the half time shows. i am eager to hear & see hudson perform. as far as our teams selection, we are a house divided. my kids are die hard steelers fans, including mini. husband has not decided. i'm on the fence again: former home team w/new home state team.

Same here... I don't care about football... I just want to see the Halftime show, same as always.

I want to watch the game and ignore the halftime show. I saw a commercial for something going on at the same time that seemed more interesting, but now I can't remember what it was...

I expect this to be a decent game, but the Steelers should win.

The last time the Arizona franchise won a championship game, they were the Chicago Cardinals. I forget what decade that was...

Mr.Pants has been a Steelers fan since the Iron Curtain days so our house will be packed with people. He even sped up the building of the playground in our backyard so the kids have a place to go...
