I am waiting until some of the more "provocative" costumes go on sale, and then I am getting a few to use throughout the year for grown up place time. I figured gotta keep things exciting now that I'll be a married woman.
Interesting. Many of the girls I know take a mundane costume, make it provocative, and call it a day. Just as well, I guess.
Halloween's my favorite Holiday out of the year, because I live in CA and it doesn't snow here anyway so what's the point? I'm probably not dressing up this year and am totally unprepared to, BUT...IF I WERE...I might go as a singed Bjork. Mostly because that swan would be easy to make out of a black stocking, and because the only comparable dress I have is a flamboyant black one. After the fire!
On a different note, I'm sure there'll be an abundance of home-made Sarah Palin costumes this year.
My kid is 12 and he told me that he's too old for Trick or Treat. He's not going this year!! I've taken him door-to-door every year since he was 1-year-old. I remember when he was a little baby dragon, a Trojan soldier, a pod racer.... *snif*. So bittersweet to see him grow up. No Trick or Treat again ...
