Yah but in the book, there was loads of fighting (and pretty important fights too)- hence the complaints ;)

Of course since I never read the books I could not have missed the fights that "took place offscreen" as J.K.? Rowling?  once stated in her interviews

Because the Author  is involved with the Movies it is considered "Kosher" no matter what is Shown, what ended up "off Screen", added in (there are complaints the Attack on the Weasley house isn't in the book as is not the Openin Scene which was just a discussion between the Magic Minister and Muggle Prime Minister, Rowling said it just wasn't included in the book when it went to be published), or re-written (There are Complaints the wrong character fixed Harry's nose...honestly can't figure how the "right" character would have had access to him)

But then again, as Peter Jackson said when people was complaining about his "liberties"  with Lord of the Rings Even Tolkien would have re-wrote the world and events as evidenced by his novels "re-setting" Middle Earth's Timeline and History every time he wrote a new book (Most obvious being Middle Earth going from a "Flat World" to a Globe and heaven above and Hell Below to the "Neverdying Lands" and "Underworld" and Gandalf,His Mentor and the Main Badie turning from Wizards into "Angels" with the main badie being Middle Earth's "Satan" or "fallen Angel")

Mmmm k. So i watched. I didnt hate it. I didnt love it. I was sorta blah about it really.  I expected much bigger and better things, tbh. Im very glad theyre making the next movie a 2 part-er. Theres just too much being left out. I felt that way about Phoenix as well, and more so in this movie. Never the less, I will be eagerly awaiting the final 2 part installment of the series :)

I pretty much felt the same way...no real action. I agree about the 2 parter for Deathly Hallows. I was wondering how they were going to do the final movie and not leave anything out...

Oh and i was thinking about it. Its not the lack of action in the movie. Its the lack of the CRUCIAL final scenes of the movie. Theres not a MAJOR war at Hogwarts in the movie, AND they dont show The Funeral (in case anyone has been living under a rock and doesnt know who dies) so basically they cut off the WHOLE end of the book. WTF!
