.hidethem

It appears that ".hidethem" is now filtered. I had it in two places in my profile and found the areas now show up. Went into my code and both "hidethem" been changed to just ".." and that really puts a cramp in my profile.

Re: .hidethem

I tried  a few variations of that one on what I had modified and it didn't work for me. I just found out while at work that it was now filtered. I'm going to scour the internerd later for a new way. Right now I got "real" stuff to do, ie bills, and what not.

here is a code you can use to hide things - now I have to break it up or it won't show here - but put it all together (everything in bold) with no spaces:

"<font style= "display:none;">" (remember stick it together without the space)

oh - I need to give credit to Iamthedevil for this one - he helped me the other night hide stuff.

So im interested in hiding the "Profile Updated" feature under the favorited tab. For example, if someone has me listed as one of their favorites, it shows my last profile update date and time... I used to be able to use the above code under my city information under basic info, but now that will not work. Has anyone found another code that will hide the last profile updated information from favorites?

Re: .hidethem

I don't think you can hide things in that area. Like when someone searches and finds you. It'll show that info too. Doubt it can be altered.

I don't remember where I got that info from, but I certainly didn't think it up all on my own. But it does seem to work, except I have to add the second quotation mark into my headline cause for some reason it disappears... also it seems that you can have extra long headlines this way, cause there is a lot of empty space with all the other info gone.

Or did they decide to allow longer headlines for everybody? I think that a long time ago I was having to cut mine short cause there were only so many characters allowed in the space. Now I put half a song verse in there and no trouble.

Headlines definitely seem longer these days. I can way more in too.

O.k. sorry this is my first attempt to put a link in but here it is.

I use the second code. I found it randomly. It lets you pretty much change your last login and all that.  I found that the other code didn't work for me. Hope this helps.

I just tried the first code on that page and it worked fine for me. Did you put it in the top of your about me? Just to sure we're talking about the same code, I tried this one:

<style type="text/css">
table td.text {visibility:hidden;}
td.text td, td.text span, td.text a {visibility:visible;}
</style>

Haven't tried the second code from page, the div. I might one day. For now I let people see whenI logged in last.
