How can I get a static IP for better control on Google Analytics
I have asked this question from several other geeks, and I still have not unlocked the best answer. I want to prevent my IP (and others from my company) from being counted in Google Analytics. But we all have dynamic IP addresses so every time we reset our modems, the number changes. Is there a simple solution to make our IP addresses static that is cost effective and will work from home and the office?

Hey, fancy meeting you here!

In your Analytics Admin page, under filters, you can add a filter to exclude all traffic from an IP, a domain name, or IP's that 'begin with' anything. So using a filter (or maybe several filters) with 'begin with' you should be able to exclude your entire range.

the other option is to call your ISP and ask them how much money they want to give you a static IP.
