The exact steps of how to see what video card you have will vary depending on what version of Windows you have. But basically you can look in the hardware manager OR on the advanced properties for your screen/monitor/video.

Go to AIDA64.com and download the AIDA64 Extreme Edition Zip file to your desktop.  Once downloaded, open the Zip (extraction not necessary for your purpose) and double-click AIDA64.exe.  After it reads your system and loads the interface, look on the left side click open Display and click PCI/AGP video.  There's your graphics card. This version of AIDA64 does not install so no changes were made to your system.  You can just close out the windows and delete the zip if you want but I suggest keeping it on a flash drive.  Comes in handy when you need to know stuff about a system (temperature, RAM type, anything).
