Installing XM Satellite Radio with an after market car radio

I am replacing my satellite ready OEM car radio on my 2009 Toyota Corolla with a Panasonic CQRX400u that is als "Satellite Ready". My 2009 corolla already has a satellite antenna on the roof. Can I attach this antenna to the aftermarket radio I am installing? Will I be able to plug in a "plug and play" XM radio into the AUX in the front of the new Panasonic radio and have it use the XM antenna that is built into the car?

I am looking to use a plug and play in the front of the car rather than getting an XM tuner car kit which goes in the trunk or under the seat.

i would suggest calling cruchfield and run your question through them. they would be able to answer you correctly, and/or suggest you purchase an adapter. some are not compatible with retractable or roof mount antennas.
