Most Memorable Guitar Riffs

What guitar riffs are most memorable to you? Feel free to list any genre and/or era. Keep it to "riffs" in the song, not the song itself or a guitar solo.

My tops 5 are:

  1. Whole Lotta Love - Zeppelin
  2. Back In Black - AC/DC
  3. Sweet Child O'Mine - Guns & Roses
  4. Smoke On The Water - Deep Purple
  5. VooDoo Chili - Hendrix

Black Sabbath - N.I.B.

Slayer - Threshold

Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit

Megadeth - Holy wars

I'll add more later...

Re: Most Memorable Guitar Riffs

ah yes! all excellent. i have to admit, i'd be totally lost without my music. i need it to think, clean, drive, chill, etc. sometimes some vintage metal while other times it can be bach's cello suite #1. just depends on what kind of mood i'm in.
