I just opened up my Myspace and this popped up!
My Visitors is here!
We've added a new feature called My Visitors that allows you to see who's viewing your profile and allows other users to see when you're viewing their profile. See who's checking out your profile by clicking 'Accept' and then finding the My Visitors module on the right side of your Home page.
This feature is completely optional, so if you prefer to browse anonymously, just click 'No thanks.'
.. allows you to see who's viewing your profile and allows other users to see when you're viewing their profile.
Be careful - it works both ways. If you accept, so you can see who views your profile, you are at the same time allowing others to see when you visit their profile...
Last night I saw the option (under privacy) to change settings for this new feature, but now I don't....Weird?
Yes, as stated in the original topic and the first comment, it works both ways.
Edit: And by yes, I mean no... because I'm dumb.
Not Retroactively though, right? I don't think it will show you any tracking going back before you enabled it.. will it? I haven't tested, and don't plan on activating mine, so i dunno.
Oops.
I haven't had my caffeine yet, and therefore forgot what retroactively meant...
I'm confusing it with another word... reciprocate and it's other forms...
This feature is the reason I deleted my MySpace account. With this feature on, I accidentally viewed a “crush’s” page and didn’t want her to know that I was looking at her page so I deleted my account all together. It sucked because I also couldn’t bring my account back. It was deleted permanently
