I recently clicked on open in Adobe Reader when viewing ntuser.dat
Adobe will not open the file. It says the file cannot be found.
ntuser.dat.log1 and ntuser.dat.log2 in the properties window lists Windows Shell Common dll
How do I get the ntuser.dat file properties back from Adobe to Windows Shell Common dll?
All you done is change the file association that tells Windows what program to used when you try to open that kind of file. Since NTUSER.dat is a system file that you (should) never open, it shouldn’t affect anything.
But you might be able to change it back by right-clicking on the file and going through the “open with” menu.
