Obsessive compulsive? AT? What are your OC quirks?

What do you obsess about that some might considered over-the-top?

hands down it would be home invasion. thieves. robbers.

other than that, i would say the typical germ phobe and white glove test home cleanliness.

The shorter list for me would be what I DON'T obsess about.

I think, if I had to choose, it would be neatness.  Everything in it's place kind of thing.   My freaky OC Spidey sense lets me know when the salt shaker is a fraction of an inch out of place.  That sort of thing.

Ahh... when my keyboard has grease or fingerprints on it, I will use about 10 Corox wipes on it until it's CLEAN!!!!  Probably why most of the letters are really faded.. :P

My desktop on my computer HAS to be organized and have only my stuff on it.  I hate it when other people get on my computer and save stuff to my desktop... UGH!  GET YOUR OWN DESKTOP!  I'll delete whatever it is, I don't care if it's your 30 page midterm paper or your only copy of your resume.  ... yeah, that drives me up a wall..

My bathroom mat being dirty.  I swear I stick it in the washer every two days.

There's probably more.. but that's all for now.. :)

There really is not anything that I obsess too much about. I would like things a certain way of course but, I  don't spend too much time trying to make everything perfect. Life is messy.
My husband has OCD over everything. He is the one that would lose sleep over the salt shaker being not at the right level. He stays up until the dirty laundry is empty from the basket. Every night.
It was a real problem for us in the beginning being the opposites but, now we both try to meet somewhere in the middle.

When anyone (mostly my son) leaves a dish on the floor, or a chewing gum wrapper on the couch, or an empty bottle of water on the table, I start to twitch...

My training, dieting, nutrition, things of that nature.

I used to bad about a lot of picky things that drove my wife nuts, but then we had a baby.  Praise be... he cured my OCD issues!

Apparently there's something about a baby power-vomiting a gush of Enfamil directly into one's face that cures a neatness obsession.  It worked for me, anyway.  It was like a warm, smelly Baptism.  I have been cleansed!  Hallelujah!  Yes - He was The Chosen One.

These days my quirks are that my fingernails have to look nice.  I don't like dirty hands or junk under my nails (shhh... once a week, I buff my nails with a 3-stage cushion board and use cuticle cream).  Oh... and I brush my teeth several times a day.

[/quote] I have found that it's impossible to look macho while buffing my nails.  I've tried it several ways and it still looks sort of feminine.

My boy is a master booter - kid has chucked on me more times than I care to remember.  Didn't cure squat for me.  My spices are alpha - the utencils go into the dishwasher basket alpha - sheets are ironed and folded the exact same way.  Towels, though not ironed, are folded in one way and one way only.  My linen closet and pantry is a study on OCD.  I've had to release the closet thing in my girl's room.  She's 12 - I break out in hives.  I also have a freaking schedule of daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly cleaning.  And don't get me started on Quicken. 43 Categories - not including subs.

I'm proudly unmedicated.  :)
