Old location shown in Find My iPhone
The only reason i know of, and the only reason I've ever seen Find My iPhone show an old location is when the phone is either turned off or it has no 3G or WiFi connectivity.
But my hubby still able to replying my wsp, which mean he is in online mode (does not turn off hiss data)
when you say "old location" - what, exactly, do you mean?
You are seeing a message that says "old location", or you just think/know that's his old location because you think/know he's somewhere else?
Sometimes when I look at my girlfriends location, it shows a certain location and when it refreshes like a minute after it shows her “real” location that it’s usually home. Why does this happens?
Usually because that was her location last time the system checked where she was.
Thanks for replying. So you’re saying that that’s where the system check where she was the last time. That doesn’t mean that she was in that location?
She may not have been at that location for days.. or she may have been there an hour ago. there is no way to know.. All you can know for sure, is that at some point in the past the phone was there, and after the system checks for her new location, if it says the phone is not there now, then it isnt ..
I’m with Carlos. When I opened find my to locate my husbands phone it showed me the correct location of where he was all night . Then I closed the app to refresh it and when I opened it it showed a totally different location ( one he should be at )and then quickly updated his location to home. Why would it show that location when I reopened the app when I hadn’t seen it all night and know he was there?
Find My has been showing the wrong location on my son's iphone since we got the phone. Could there be something wrong with his iPhone?
