****Profiletracker Users....Go and take a look at the forum over there --->

It surely seems like they've hit a little snag w/ the codes for Firefox and other non Internet Explorer users.  When the new codes were posted a few weeks back I changed the height & width myself and from what I can see it's still working for me. I changed my height to 10000 and width to 2000, I'd try and fool around w/ that before taking the painstaking trouble of trying to delete it and it not deleting, and etc. etc. I'm sure you all know about the problems when taking out the old codes and putting the new ones.

edit:  I swear, now it's not working at all.  It's always one thing or another with profiletracker.  So I'm wondering if because I went in and looked at my codes if this somehow affected how the code worked.  I have no idea, I'd love to hear if anyone else's profile is being tracked in Firefox!  Let me know!

I'm pretty sure this is happening because of a Myspace specific issue. Let's all hope they aren't filtering again.

Re: ****Profiletracker Users....Go and take a look at the forum

I checked out my profile just now to see if I was having any new trouble, and something is screwed up. I tracked someone using IE as recent as 20 mins ago. But I disabled Adblock and looked at my own profile with Firefox, and when I tried to click anywhere within the overlay that is supposed to track Firefox users, I linked out to the MySpace homepage. I tried this several times with Adblock on and off and got the same thing.

So I guess we will have to wait yet again for a fix. Just when I had things working right again... sigh. I guess I should go and delete the overlay thing to avoid scaring away any Firefox users that hit my page... maybe wait it out for a day and see what happens.

I really don't like looking at their forums too much, I know they are quick to help but I don't like looking through 1000 threads to find my answer. I do like that whenever something important happens there's an update on the stat page.

Words can't even describe how ticked I am right now.....

This is clearly the reason why I hate going to the Profiletracker forum

Re: ****Profiletracker Users....Go and take a look at the forum

I've been looking at the forums over there and apparently Myspace DID filter again. They've given us a fix for it on Profiletracker, but it doesn't look like anything besides IE will be tracked for awhile according to the forum.

Re: ****Profiletracker Users....Go and take a look at the forum

PM me if you want a guinea pig to check out - I'll disable ABP. I only use trackspace but I'm happy to help by being "hit".

Curious how  I would show up - I log into  dozens of  accounts.

This is the one reason I decided to just stay with the old & only track IE.

Profiletracker Users:How do you get help if your post is locked?

Will someone please answer this question for me? I'd post on that forum, but there's no telling if a thread will get locked because Terikan doesn't like what the users are saying.

So, how in the world do you get ANY kind of help if your post is locked? Kinda seems like that forum is being run by a dictator. Aren't we customers who are paying for a service? Apparently there's over 5300 registered users and at $5 a pop that's over $26000 a month, the least the forum owner can do is put on a smile and assist his customers. Isn't it true that you attract more bees w/ sugar than w/ vinegar?

I just did a search for the statistical amount of online users using Firefox-vs-IE and it's an astonishing 38% to 19%. And the statistics indicate that IE users are declining every month. The fact is, I'm now paying for a service that is only working 50%, doesn't that warrant a change in price for the service until the service is fixed again?

I'd like to see what everyone else has to say about this? Are others concerned about the issues that are presenting themselves at every angle with using Profiletracker?

What you do in this life, will echo for eternity.

Re: ****Profiletracker Users....Go and take a look at the forum

i don't think every registered user is paying, since you can signup on the forum without paying... a lot of poeple signup thinking they'll get some kind of trial i bet since they are desperate for a tracker... i know when he went from shared hosting to dedicated he ported over ~1500 users who were paying, and it went from 1500 users to 5500 since then... still let's say he has 2k paying users now, still good $ :)

oh btw you need to completly delete your firefox code, it's in the announcement... it doesn't work anymore... also, having one issue after another is part of having a "real tracker" you have to deal with it and it should be expected that you stay on top of the latest announcements...
