"Rock The Cradle"

As some of you know already, MTV's latest reality show "Rock The Cradle," premiers this evening. The purpose of this show will be children of famous rock stars competing and vying for a record deal. The son of Dee Snider of Twisted Sister, Jesse Blaze Snider, will be on tonight's premier opener as well Lucy Walsh (daughter of Joe Walsh), Landon Brown (son of Bobby Brown), Lara Johnson (daughter of Doobie Brother Tom Johnson), Chloe Rose Lattanzi (daughter of Olivia Newton John), and Jesse Money (daughter of Eddi Money).

If any of you, besides me and Almost Evil, have watched Dave Navarro's Rockstar INXS or RockStar Supernova, you know this season will be a rockin' one!

I am personally so disappointed. The host- who's name eludes me at the moment- was dull, boring, and had lousy jokes. The kids were...ok...ish. It really was rather dull.

You can watch full versions of all the episodes here -

Personally, I was so bummed when Jessie Money was voted off after the first show, as I thought she rocked "When I'm Gone" so much better than the original 3 Doors Down version. Heck, I played her version over so many times and wished they had let her do a full version rather than the shortened version she performed on that first show. According to judges scores, as well as to the performances on that first night, Olivia Newton's daughter Chloe should have been eliminated, although I personally liked her theatrical vocal style, as well.

Anyway, if you missed them, enjoy the shows, and if you caught them on TV, enjoy the performances you liked best again on the website...!

we've been following RTC. tivo it then catch it on the fly. two performances that have stuck in my head would be jesse snider's version of "ring of fire" by johnny cash - - it rocked and he owned that stage & audience. the other would be chloe's version and performance of "freak on a leash." now that particular performance actually distrubed me. it was clearly her inner marlyn manson trying to bust out. her niche on that show is her dark/gothness wrapped inside the shadow of her mother's persona. do i dare say....wicked cool?!
