stop PASTING having variable results

When I use Win 10's Snippingtool to capture an image, and then PASTE it into Telegram, the actual recognizable image may get pasted (desirable), or the technical description of the file may appear (UNdesirable) and THAT may be what gets sent. If the latter is the case, the recipient has to open the received file in an image program to see its content. How can I avoid the latter and ensure the former ?

Are you copying it exactly the same way each time and getting different results? Or is it possible you are capturing/pasting differently?

To the best of knowledge the procedure is identical - but the results are sometimes UNdesirable.

if you are doing the EXACT same thing, the EXACT same way, and getting different results each time, then something is seriously borked in your Windows or in the programs you are using.
My guess is you are either copying differently or pasting it differently, resulting in the different results.
