Question: Is possible to trace or track digital photos that have been uploaded/posted to major social networking sites and/or photo sharing sites?

Question: Is possible to trace or track digital photos that have been uploaded/posted to major social networking sites and/or photo sharing sites?
For example: If i suspect someone mis-representing themselves by using someone else's digital photos as their own...is there a way to track back the source code/file name of the photographs to check where else they may be saved on the internet?
Scenario:
Girl A (real): Takes legit and real photos of her and her friends, then uploads them to photobucket
Girl B (imposter): Creates fake myspace, finds Girl A's pictures (either directly via Girl A's photobucket, or Girl A's myspace)...saves them as her own....and falsely represents herself as a completely different girl
Me: Wants to know if he can somehow find & contact Girl A tracking back the origination of the pictures...or another server/account where the same file has been uploaded by the REAL & GENUINE girl.
