Yes....and yes.

You can have 25000 trackers on your page if you want....who's going to stop you, the Myspace Tracker Police?  HA

But remember you're putting trackers on your page at your own risk, if you read thru the actually myspace forums on myspace you're not allowed to have trackers and your profile could be deleted.

Re: trackspace isn't identifying people

Thanks for all the info. I have no idea if I put private or public. I'm going to go to the block thread now.

Thanks again for the help!

Re: trackspace isn't identifying people

1. Does the IP address Trackspace provides correlate in any way with someone that may be in your friends list?

2. Also, I think that trackspace isn't accurate either. For example, someone on my friends list that I've identified shows up that shes in another state.

3. What happens if you identify someone on trackspace and then realize you're wrong and want it back to unknown? Is taht possible?

Thanks -

1.  It depends if you've identified that person yourself and inputed their myspace friend id.  That IP address is not unique to trackspace, if that's what you're asking.

2.  Some IP address's have unique locations, example AOL users might be seen as being located in Denver Co., but that's because it might be where the main AOL server or whatnot is located.  Look thru some of the threads on GuG that have IP address in the original post, you'll find that other members have given their favorite places to search IP addresses.

3.  I have not seen anywhere on trackspace were you can take back the number that you put in or that someone else put in.  The only thing that you can do is change the number.

Geek In Pink -

Were you responding to my question if I identify some unknown IP viewer as Bob even though it may not be Bob?

(thanks for your help)

Also, sometimes it shows my picture and profile as tracked. What is that suppose to mean? Locations seem to be off too.

Re: trackspace isn't identifying people

Well, are you looking at your own profile?  There is an option to have your trackspace profile that you created when you signed up for it to be either public or private, which did you choose, and remember they did ask for your myspace friend id!  If you don't have adblock, then you will be tracked when you go to view your own profile.  If you don't want to be tracked on any trackers, go and look at the thread "How to block Myspace trackers."

As for the location questions that you have, it'll take entirely too long to explain everything, plus it's already been explained....so my suggestion is to use the search option at the top of the page and search IP addresses.  Or you can just go and look thru the forum that pertains to Myspace Trackers.  There's tons of threads about IP questions.  Not only will you get the answer to this question, but once you get that answer, likely you'll have another that is also about IP's, so you'll be getting all the answers to your questions before you even ask them!!!
