Uninstalling Windows XP
I have a Laptop, it's too slow, want to format it, remove windows xp, and install fedora 13. Please if someone does help me, could i just get short bullet point directions, i understand the consequences of formatting and yada yada yada. I have Fedora 13 on an iso file, I figured i'd put it on a usb stick, get in to the laptop's bios, set it to boot from usb, just need instructions on formatting & removing windows.

Does not the Fedora installer have the option to format and/or re-partition ?

Re: Uninstalling Windows XP
I tried installing fedora using UNetbootin on a memory stick, the version wasn't stated or i can't remember anyway, but it didn't offer the option to format or re-partition, after I had installed it, I restarted the laptop and a dos screen came up with the windows has not shut down correctly screen, with the usual "Start in safe mode", "Run windows normally", etc. options. After that i decided to download the Fedora 13 iso file and seek further advice.
