Yes... you can actually read the messages on your verizon account. What I do is go to google.com then type in vtext and normally it'll be the first one that comes up. Obviously click it and type in your number and password and it should just pop up. You can only do it if your the account owner or have full access to the account. Hope this helps.

No vtext no longer exists as a website. I just looked on Verizon's FAQ about it. You can send emails as texts to phones but you can't view them on the website you need Messages.

How can you retrieve deleted texts from 1.5 years ago. Both of the phones were broken severely by someone after info was deleted before we knew to back up...

If you still have the phones and IF the phones weren't used very much from the time the text messages were deleted and the phones were 'broken', it might be possible for a data recovery specialist to retrieve the messages. Expect to pay a LOT for them to even try if you can even find someone that thinks it's possible.
If the phones were used a lot after the txt messages were deleted, they are likely gone forever from the innards of the phones.

If the text messages were sent/received on your Verizon data plan/account you might be able to contact Verizon and ask them to retrieve the records. You might need an attorney to make them do it as Verizon surely won't want to hassle it, or they may charge you a fee. If the text messages were not sent/received on your account, you would need a court order (which will take a lawyer) to force Verizon to hand it over to you.

Basically, there is no easy/fast/cheap way to do this and it may not even be possible.

When I go to view messages on my account it doesn't show text message or a phone number. It only states incoming or outbound. I would like to know at the very least the phone number. Any help?
