Virus warning?

About a year ago my computer was infected with more than one virus. I had it repaired and they installed Avast, CCLeaner, Malwarebytes,  Spybot, and Defraggler.  Last night Avast "warned" me of a virus and instructed me to run the scan in the boot sector. ( Not sure I said that right)  It said there would be a log after the scan but after full scan it went into screen saver mode and there was no log or report that I can find.  I have run full scans using all above programs and nothing shows any trace of a virus.  I want to be sure it's gone but can't even find any evidence it was cleaned or deleted etc.

Is there something I should do beyond this to ensure there is no virus?

Re: Virus warning?

If Avast warned you, then Avast doesn't find anything, i would think it's probably a 'false positive'.. I would run MalwareBytes just to be sure though.

Ran Malwarebytes in safe mode with no network connection. Found nothing.  Running spybot in safe mode as well.   Thanks for the response!

Re: Virus warning? 3 Avast warnings in one day

Ok, I just got the 3rd warning from Avast about a trojan.  Under "Last infected" it says http//kulibaka.com/documents?s=576

In the log it starts out "Sign of JS:Fakecodec-G" [trj]

Next line starts "Sign of "JS:Downloader-FT" [trj]  http//kulibaka.com/documents?s=576

The sensitivity is set to high on the internet.   Is this what is causing the frequent warnings or do I have a problem?

I have no idea what it is......  I spelled it wrong.   It is KULIBAKA.COM

Re: Virus warning? kalibaka.com

it's probably finding something in your cache, assuming you did visit kalibaka.com, or a some other site with a 'frame' to kalibaka.com. If this is the case, clearing your cache may get rid of the JS file and stop the warnings.

Re: Virus warning? kalibaka.com

Ok,  will give it a try.  Thanks for the quick response!

Edit - just checked and Firefox is set to clear cache every time I close the browser.

Re: Virus warning? kalibaka.com

is it possible anyone else might be using Internet Explorer? Also, do you use Outlook or Outlook Express? Some versions of those programs use IE guts for displaying HTML messages.

Yes, IE is on the computer and I believe my daughter uses that browser when she uses my computer.   I don't use either Outlook or Outlook Express though.
